About CCWA

Mission Statement:

The Corpus Christi Windsurfing Association is a collaboration of like-minded windsurfers joined to promote and protect windsurfing in the Coastal Bend.

Goals:

• Protect access to existing launches
• Promote the growth of windsurfing
• Create partnerships with the City of Corpus Christi, Padre Island National Seashore, and the Corpus Christi Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce
• Advocate improvements to established launches
• Explore with our partners the possibilities and practicalities of creating additional launch sites and teaching locations
• Promote wind sport safety and work with other windsports for mutual benefit
• Sponsor civic activities
